Why TreeRunner for a Group?

Because everyone gets to be part of the experience.

TreeRunner isn't an activity where most of the group stands around watching. Climbers are moving, choosing challenges, encouraging one another and creating their own version of the day.

1

A Shared Challenge

Put everyone in a setting where encouragement, problem solving and plenty of “you've got this” happen naturally.

2

Different Comfort Levels Work

Climbers can take on eligible trails at different challenge levels, so everyone doesn't have to experience the day exactly the same way.

3

Get Everyone Outside

Trade another conference room, restaurant table or indoor activity for a few hours moving through the trees.

4

We're Already at Grand Park

For teams and organizations already using Grand Park, TreeRunner adds a completely different activity without leaving campus.

What Kind of Group Are You Bringing?

Start with the outing that sounds most like yours.

The experience can look different depending on why you're coming. We've built dedicated planning pages for our most common group types.

Tell Us About Your Group
Same Park. Different Challenges.

Your group doesn't need to move through TreeRunner as one giant line.

After orientation, climbers can spread into eligible courses and choose challenges that fit their age and comfort level. Some people may stay on introductory terrain. Others will be ready to keep progressing.

Everyone shares the outing without everyone needing the same experience.

Bringing more than 80 people?

TreeRunner Grand Park can accommodate approximately 80 climbers in the experience at one time.

That does not necessarily mean your total organization has to be 80 people or fewer. Larger total groups may be possible through staggered arrival times or another planned flow depending on the date, group type and park schedule.

Send us the actual group size you're considering and let our team talk through the options with you before ruling anything out.

The Grand Park Advantage

A group outing in the middle of one of the country's busiest sports campuses.

TreeRunner is located directly inside Grand Park in Westfield. That makes us especially convenient for athletic teams, tournament groups and organizations already spending time on campus.

Local groups from Westfield, Carmel, Noblesville, Fishers and the Indianapolis area can make TreeRunner the destination itself.

Group Outing FAQs

A few things to know before you inquire.

How many people do we need for a group rate?

Groups with 7 or more climbers are eligible for current group discount rates. Some private or outside-general-admission arrangements may work differently, so contact us if your group is smaller.

How large of a group can TreeRunner Grand Park accommodate?

TreeRunner Grand Park can accommodate approximately 80 climbers in the experience at one time. Larger total groups may be possible with staggered scheduling or another planned flow depending on the date and park operations.

Can groups reserve times when TreeRunner is not open for general admission?

Some group dates and times outside normal general-admission hours may be available by advance arrangement. Availability varies by season, date and group size, so submit an inquiry for the dates you're considering.

Do all group members have to climb the same trails?

No. After the required orientation, participants can use eligible trails based on age, participation requirements and comfort level. This allows different climbers to take on different levels of challenge during the same outing.

What ages can participate?

Aerial Forest climbing begins at age 7. Adult-accompaniment and trail-access rules vary by age. Review our age and participation guidelines before finalizing your group.

Do group waivers need to be completed ahead of time?

Yes. Group waivers should be completed before arrival. Your final guest list is due 48 hours before your scheduled climb so the team can review waiver completion before the group arrives.

Can we bring food or drinks for our group?

Grand Park has food options available on campus and currently restricts outside food and beverages. Ask our group team about current options when planning celebrations or meals around your visit.

What should climbers wear?

Climbers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe, closed-heel footwear. Long hair should be secured, and dangling jewelry or loose accessories should be avoided. Gloves are required for Aerial Forest climbing.

What happens if the weather is questionable?

TreeRunner operates outdoors and can operate in many weather conditions, but severe weather can affect climbing. Review the Grand Park Weather & Rain Policy and contact the park if you have concerns on the day of your event.

Does submitting the inquiry form reserve our date?

No. The inquiry starts the planning process. Your date is not confirmed until a TreeRunner representative reviews availability and confirms your reservation.

Have a Complicated Group?

That's what the inquiry is for.

Give us your group size, ages, preferred dates and what you're trying to accomplish. Our Grand Park team can help you determine the right next step.

Give the group something worth talking about afterward.

Tell us who's coming, when you'd like to visit and what kind of outing you have in mind. We'll help you take it from there.
