An Outdoor Adventure

Our park features seven routes of varying difficulties and skill levels that match the experience of any climber. We offer three beginner routes, two intermediate routes, and two expert level routes (keep in mind that to take intermediate or expert level routes, the previous difficulty must be cleared first). There are also some age restrictions on different routes, but our park has adventures and routes available for climbers as young as seven years of age!

Beginning climbers will get to experience thrilling obstacles and course elements, such as zip-lines, lily-pad bridges, swinging platforms, an earthquake bridge, and more! Intermediate routes introduce swinging planks, the tallest platform in the park, a cargo net walk, and rolling logs, just to name a few. Those daring and skilled enough to tackle an expert level route can challenge themselves to a 40-foot auto-rappel jump, vertical cargo nets, swinging discs, and the Junkyard! There is something for climbers of every skill level to enjoy at your next outdoor birthday bash!

Birthday Packages

TreeRunner Adventure Park in Grand Rapids offers two birthday party packages to accommodate your event needs. Read below for a brief description of each package and what they offer.

Main Park Birthday Package:

This package includes three hours of climbing time for groups of seven or more, which includes about half an hour of harnessing and orientation. A complimentary birthday t-shirt will also be given to the guest of honor celebrating their special day! Each of your guests will receive a goodie bag of awesome Adventure Park swag to remember the fun day they’ve had.

Complimentary picnic area reservations are included in this package. TreeRunner Adventure Park does not offer any food service in the park, but we have great relationships with local food establishments that will deliver for party groups directly to the park. We can provide a list of local options for pizza and other food options.

The weekday rate for this package, which is Sunday-Thursday, is $31 per person, and the weekend rate, Friday-Saturday, is $45 per person.

Junior Park Birthday Package (Ages 4-7):

The littlest of climbers doesn’t need to be left out on their birthday with our Junior Park birthday party package! Climbers as young as four years of age are welcome to experience our exciting Junior Park. Parents and chaperones can sit back and relax while young climbers learn the basics of adventuring in the trees in a completely safe, laid-back environment.

The Junior Park birthday package also includes a complimentary birthday boy/girl t-shirt to remember their adventure party, as well as goodie bags for their guests with park swag. Guests are also welcome to bring their own party decorations for their birthday party!

The Junior Park birthday package requires a group of at least eight climbers, priced as a group at $200. Each additional child is $25. Non-climbing chaperones and parents are not charged for this activity.
