Meet The Team
Jeremy joined the TreeRunner team in October of 2019. He completed both his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Wayne State University (GO WARRIORS!) and loves spending time with his family, watching sports, or enjoying some quiet time in Charlevoix, Michigan. The person he admires most is his dog, Yofi, because he gets to sleep all day and is always in a good mood. He says the best part of his job is seeing guests come to the park as timid travelers and leaving as confident conquerors.
Top bucket list item: learn how to fly a plane
A graduate of Alma College, Amanda is an outdoor recreation hobbyist and has been with our team since July of 2019. She loves encouraging people to spend time outside, and in the present. When she isn’t working, she enjoys skateboarding, and hanging with her friends. Fun fact, Amanda has been to zipline parks across the world! Just a few include Peru, Costa Rica, Germany, and Mexico.
Top bucket list item: to base jump
Park Coordinator & Youth Program Manager
An avid outdoorsman and jack of all trades with TreeRunner, Dana is in her 4th year with TreeRunner! Dana has a degree in Business Management from Grand Valley State University, and her favorite part of working at TreeRunner is being outside and working in a fun environment. She is a certified trainer and loves helping others learn the ropes (literally!). Outside of work she spends all of her time with her baby (he’s really cute).
Top bucket list item: heliskiing or surfing in Hawaii
Training & Equipment Manager
In his 4th year at TreeRunner, Mike is a graduate of Wayne State University. He loves everything about TreeRunner, especially giving climbers a one-of-a-kind experience they will never forget. Being outside in the fresh air is Mike’s go-to, along with his guitar, or camping trips. He admires Paul McCartney, because who doesn’t love his music?
Top bucket list item: backpacking through Europe
In his third year with TreeRunner, Tony is all things maintenance and construction. With a background in Broadcast Media Engineering and Editing from Specs Howard, Tony loves climbing trees (literally!). In his spare time, you can find Tony rock climbing (see a theme?), fishing, backpacking, and snowboarding. His idol is Aron Ralston, known for surviving a canyoneering accident by cutting off his own arm.
Top bucket list item: visit all the national parks.
Guest Experience Coordinator
In her second year with TreeRunner, Destiny graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Recreation Management. She also has 4 years of experience as a Wilderness First Responder and swim coach. When she’s not at TreeRunner you can find destiny kayaking, playing with her 3 dogs, or painting. Her favorite part about TreeRunner is that it is a place for people to have fun! She loves the energy from everyone in the park – both the staff and guests!
Top bucket list item: to go dog-sledding under the Northern Lights.
Call Center & Office Supervisor
A student at Central Michigan University studying Music, Psychology and Organizational Leadership, Connor loves being able to see the positive impact a visit to TreeRunner leaves on climbers. He has a huge admiration for nurses and thinks they never get the credit they deserve! Outside of work he enjoys playing piano or Mario (even though they both frustrate him).
Top bucket list item: to see every show on a Broadway season rotation
A recent graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Accounting, Jonah serves as both the TreeRunner intern, and a Park Supervisor. Jonah has been with our team for four years and his favorite part of the job is the people and climbing. He says TreeRunner is one of the only places where people are happy to just be there. His idol is Hank Greenberg and has always looked up to him.

In his first year with TreeRunner, Conner has risen through the ranks to become the TreeRunner Social Media Specialist.
