Build confidence on introductory aerial routes featuring bridges, obstacles and ziplines before deciding what challenge comes next.
TreeRunner Grand Rapids is an outdoor aerial adventure park at Knapp's Corner where families, friends and groups can climb through the trees by day — and experience the forest in a completely different way after dark.
TreeRunner is built around active outdoor adventure. Climb through aerial obstacles, cross suspended bridges, ride ziplines and choose challenges that let you decide how far you want to go.
TreeRunner is the kind of place where the experience changes as you move through it. One obstacle may feel easy. The next one might make you stop for a second and figure out how you want to tackle it.
That's the point. The park gives climbers room to start where they're comfortable and take on more challenge when they're ready.
Some guests come for the ziplines. Others come to spend a day outside with family or friends. And on select evenings, guests come specifically to experience the forest after dark.
Grand Rapids' Aerial Forest includes nine trails ranging from introductory routes to demanding expert terrain. Climbers can progress through different challenge levels as they explore obstacles and ziplines throughout the park.

Experienced and eligible climbers can work toward Grand Rapids' most demanding aerial challenges, including Black and Double Black terrain.
On select evenings, TreeRunner Grand Rapids transforms. Lighting, music and the forest after dark turn the same aerial trails into a completely different experience.
Night Forest brings climbers back into the trees after dark, with illuminated courses and a nighttime atmosphere that feels completely different from a daytime climb.
It's become one of the signature experiences at TreeRunner Grand Rapids — whether you're coming with friends, planning a different kind of date night or simply want to see the park in a new way.
An aerial adventure park is a network of elevated platforms connected by obstacles and ziplines. Instead of watching the experience happen, you're moving through it yourself.
Grand Rapids' trails include suspended bridges, cargo nets, balance obstacles, swinging elements, elevated platforms and ziplines. Different trails provide different levels of challenge, so your day doesn't have to look exactly like anyone else's.
You don't have to think of yourself as an athlete, climber or outdoors expert to belong here.
Get everyone outside for an experience built around movement, challenge and time together.
Make the plan something more memorable than another meal, movie or afternoon spent indoors.
Schools, teams, companies and youth organizations can experience challenge and encouragement together in a completely different setting.
You don't need previous climbing experience. Start with the orientation, find your footing and decide what challenge comes next.
TreeRunner isn't about proving that you're the bravest person in the group. It's about finding a challenge that feels meaningful to you, figuring out how to move through it and seeing what you're capable of along the way.
