About TreeRunner • Raleigh, North Carolina

An outdoor adventure park right here in the Triangle.

TreeRunner Raleigh brings climbing, ziplining, mini golf and younger-kid adventure together in one wooded North Raleigh park. Come for one activity or build a whole afternoon around the trees.

About Our Raleigh Park

More than a zipline. More than a ropes course.

TreeRunner Raleigh is built around choice. The main Aerial Forest gives ages 7+ eight elevated trails with more than 90 obstacles and 24 ziplines across five difficulty levels. Junior Park gives ages 4–7 five lower trails designed for younger climbers. Putt Forest adds a full 18-hole mini golf course beneath the trees.

Why you may see both “8 trails” and “13 trails” used for Raleigh.

Raleigh has 8 main Aerial Forest trails plus 5 separate Junior Park trails — 13 climbing trails across the park in total. We use 8 when describing the main Aerial Forest and 5 when describing Junior Park so guests know which experience the number refers to.

The Forest Is Part of the Experience

The trees are not decoration. They're the setting.

Much of TreeRunner Raleigh sits beneath an established wooded canopy. The Aerial Forest moves between the trees, Junior Park sits closer to the forest floor and Putt Forest winds beneath the same canopy.

Peak Summer in Raleigh

Raleigh gets hot. The forest helps.

During the hottest summer conditions, our Raleigh team often notices that it can feel about 8–10° cooler beneath the shaded canopy than in more open, exposed areas. That is an experiential hot-weather observation — not a year-round temperature guarantee.

One Park. Different Adventures.

TreeRunner does not have to look the same for everyone.

Families

How the Aerial Forest Works

Start approachable. Decide how far you want to go.

TreeRunner's Aerial Forest is self-guided once climbers complete orientation. Different trail levels let eligible guests begin with an approachable route, get comfortable with the climbing system and work toward harder challenges if they want to.

Start

Learn the system.

Every climbing visit begins with equipment and orientation before entering the aerial trails.

Explore

Choose eligible trails.

Course access depends on age and other participation requirements, with five difficulty levels available.

Progress

Take on more when you're ready.

Climbers can repeat a favorite route or work toward more demanding obstacles as the visit continues.
