Your group does not need to move through TreeRunner as one giant line.
After orientation, climbers can spread into eligible trails and choose challenges that fit their age and comfort level. Some people may stay on introductory terrain. Others will be ready to keep progressing.
Not Everyone Wants to Climb?
Keep non-climbers part of the outing with Putt Forest.
Non-climbers can still be part of the day with a round at Putt Forest, TreeRunner Raleigh's 18-hole outdoor mini golf course. It gives groups an easy way to include different comfort levels and interests while keeping everyone together at the same location.

A few things to know before you inquire.
How many people do we need for a group rate?
Current group discounts begin at 7 climbers. Some outside-general-admission or private arrangements may work differently, so ask if your group is smaller.
Can groups reserve outside normal general-admission hours?
Some group dates and times outside regular public hours may be available by advance arrangement. Availability varies by season, date and group size.
Do all group members have to climb the same trails?
No. After orientation, participants can use eligible trails based on age, participation requirements and comfort level.
What ages can participate?
Main Aerial Forest climbing begins at age 7. Adult-accompaniment and trail-access rules vary by age.
What should climbers wear?
Closed-toe, closed-heel footwear is required. Long hair should be secured, and gloves are required for Aerial Forest climbing.
